Check the report.

RamCal provides you with a perpetual and universal calendar wrapped up in a neat and easy-to-use interface. You will be able to move from any date in the Gregorian calendar to its corresponding date in the Julian, French republican, Jewish, and Muslim calendars, and vice versa.

RamCal gives you full information about any date in the past or in the future. Before you begin, it is advisable that you adjust the Gregorian calendar to the date of adoption in the country of your choice. This calendar is the one in use today, universally accepted as the one that represents the actual duration of the Solar year in a more accurate way. However, and due to various historical reasons, this change from the Julian calendar to the Gregorian calendar took place in each country on different dates, which vary from 1582 to as late as 1923. Once RamCal has been set to the country of your choice, you are ready to choose the date you are interested in knowing more about.

The date selected in the Gregorian calendar will be "translated" into the other five calendars automatically. Together with the day, month, and year in the old Julian calendar (in both the standard and the Roman styles) you are given the day of the week of that precise date. An interesting feature is the French Republican calendar. This was in use only for 12 years after the French Revolution, and it changed completely the duration of the months (30 per month, plus 5 or 6 complementary days), the names of the months (based on the various seasons), and the names of the days, with 366 different names - that of a plant, an animal, or a mineral. Though not in use anymore, RamCal allows you to revive and simulate this beautiful calendar for ever.

Catholics will be happy to know that RamCal can also provide them with valuable information about the religious movable feast days, such as Ash Wednesday, Easter, Ascension Day, and Pentecost. Finally, it will help you to find out which Saint corresponds to which date and vice versa.
